Dark Waters

Below the Sea of Silt exists the Grottos of Gloom, a series of caverns filled with toxic fumes.

Within the Grottos of Gloom there is a vast system of lakes and rivers, all interconnected. The coasts and islands of these deep dark waters are inhabited by a specific group of people. These people place importance on nobility, opportunity, strength, thievery, and freedom.

Common occupations for people of this culture are thief, bandit, assassin, mercenary, soldier, harlequin, genealogist, vexillologist, and herdsman to name a few.

The cuisine of this culture is specific to the flora and fauna of the associated region, but most of their food consists of stews, boils, and stir-fries consisting of rice, vegetables, and sea food with strong spices.

The political system implemented by this culture is oriented around the strongest being in charge and conflicts resolved through trial by combat.
